Imagine a place where dogs run free and wild in enormous packs just like a herd of youthful gazelles. Now, imagine that this place is a park you can visit whenever you want.
It’s called the Land of Strays in Costa Rica, and it’s home to 900 homeless dogs, all cared for by a team of volunteers. Yes, it’s just as amazing as it sounds!
In northern Costa Rica, there’s a piece of land known as “El Territorio de Zaguates.”
This translates roughly to the “Land of the Strays.”
The territory is filled with hundreds of very lovable inhabitants…
…who couldn’t be any more thrilled when people come to visit!
I’ve never seen so many dogs in one place in my life! The best part? All of these pups are up for adoption!
