The world is chock-full of beautiful places that capture the imaginations and dreams of people looking for an adventure. And while many locales are undoubtedly beautiful, there’s one tiny island in the Pacific Ocean that might put the rest to shame.
It’s called Palawan, and it’s an island located in the Philippines. What it lacks in square footage, it makes up with gorgeous cliffs, coves, and lagoons that will ensnare the hearts of just about anyone who lays eyes on it.
Found on the western side of the Philippines is Palawan, an idyllic island paradise nestled on the edge of the Pacific Ocean that some consider the most beautiful place on Earth.
For those who aren’t experts on Filipino geography, this is where Palawan is located on a map.
The beaches on Palawan are full of white sand and the water is as clear as crystal.
It’s also well-known for the towering sandstone cliffs that rise high above the seas.
The most famous feature of the island, however, is the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
Sea life thrives all around the island’s shores, including dolphins, fish, and several species of endangered sea turtles. The island itself is home to more than 600 species of butterflies!
So, have you fallen in love yet?
