Arnold Schwarzenegger's Family Admits His Behavior Makes Them Fear For His Life

Though he appeared in good spirits following his October 2020 operation, the Schwarzenegger clan couldn't help but feel a little uneasy about Arnold being back in a hospital bed. Over the last few years, this had unfortunately become a regular sight. And following a recent trip to the hospital, Arnold's family has come forward to reveal that his post-recovery behavior has them fearing for his life.

An Unwelcome Sight

From bodybuilding champion to Hollywood superstar to governor of California, it's no stretch of the imagination to call Arnold Schwarzenegger one of the most accomplished men in history. The Austrian-born icon has done more in his 73 years than most of us could in three lifetimes, yet the cost of his success may now finally be catching up with him.

Frequent Health Problems

Just two years prior to his most recent stint in the hospital, Arnold had been rushed into emergency surgery for a similar procedure, though it was one that very well could've ended his life. For a man famous for treating his body like a well-oiled machine, it came as a surprise to many that the Terminator star's health problems had become so frequent.

Bodybuilding Addiction

Yet even back in his prime, Arnold's fitness habits were seen as somewhat detrimental. He actually first began training for competitive bodybuilding at age 14, though his passion for the sport soon progressed into something close to an addiction.

Breaking And Entering

In fact, Arnold was so consumed by the bodybuilding lifestyle that he would break into his local gym on weekends just to work out. While some might call this dedication, Arnold's father, Gustav Schwarzenegger, saw his son's antics as problematic and sought to put an end to them — by force.
