Ah, the suburbs — simultaneously the most relaxing and chaotic place to live. With all those neighbors stacked next to and on top of one another, there's bound to be some bickering from time to time. But these neighborhoods are truly chaotic, utilizing catty notes, outlandish decor, and even building houses solely out of spite. Yup, some homeowners make it known that they're fed up with their neighbor's nonsense in hilariously blunt and creative ways.
1. There ya go, Bob!
Well, after all the pestering from Bob, his neighbor finally caved and painted the fence. They were also generous enough to make sure Bob noticed the fence every single time he drove by. How nice! After all, Bob deserves to see his kind suggestion come to fruition.
2. Misplaced love note
Who knew that leaving a nice note for your wife could cause so much drama? After this unfortunate person accidentally left their sweet nothings on someone else’s car, they were forced to apologize to the whole neighborhood in the form of a sign. And we love how its author has signed off with an apology, just in case hopes were raised by the misplaced missive.
3. No trees allowed
This takes "petty" to unbelievable new levels. We can understand not wanting a tree to hang over your driveway — it's a recipe for bird droppings, or worse, a fallen branch crashing through your windshield — but clearly, the tree's owner didn't agree. Instead of chopping down the tree and planting a new one somewhere else, he simply took a chainsaw to half the tree. Like we said: petty.
4. Stay vigilant...
If there's one thing you never want careening at you through the air, it's feces. If this pet owner dares to leave their dog's droppings behind again, they better have a toothbrush and some Crest ready immediately, because this angry neighbor sounds like they mean business... and like they have some experience flinging feces at passersby.
