Marie Osmond Makes A Confession About 'Donny & Marie'

From catchy barbershop tunes to groovy disco hits, The Osmond Family has done it all. But when they were forced to watch the legacy they worked so hard to build crumble before their eyes, they had to fight even harder to keep their once-unbreakable bond intact. Looking back, Marie Osmond spelled out the price that she and her relatives paid to find their fame and fortune.

Living legends

The Osmonds went through a lot, but it never stopped them from losing touch with each other. In fact, in 2018, Marie, who was always the biggest supporter of her brothers, organized a reunion concert in Hawaii for the famous siblings. The emotional moment brought a flood of old memories.

Her heroes

Of course, Marie has always been careful about the overlap between her personal and professional lives. Because she so badly wanted to honor her inspiring brothers, Marie had all of the proceeds from the reunion concert go to only them. “My brothers are my heroes," she said.

Professional standpoint

"Everything I have learned from a professional standpoint," she continued, "from having honesty and integrity and doing what’s right, I learned from them. These are strong men, and I love them." Fans know the Osmonds have been through hell and back, but recently, Marie dove into further detail on one scandal that nearly tore them apart.

Young performers

Marie’s older brothers were already making their way in the music business as The Osmond Brothers in the early 1960s. They were regular guests on The Andy Williams Show, and Marie appeared on that show as a toddler. Williams even joked to his audience that she was the, “newest Osmond brother.”
