This Disturbing Little Creature Lives On Human Bodies… And You’re Not Going To Believe WHERE.
You may not know it, but there are millions of tiny organisms crawling all over your face and body right now that can't be seen by the human eye. And you know what? That's probably a good thing.
Some of these microscopic creatures are so disturbing that we're better off not knowing when they're around. For example, just take a look at this guy!
One of these creatures is the Demodex, a tiny parasitic mite that feeds off of human hair follicles.
Demodex only measure 1/3 mm, and they are commonly found in human eyebrows, eyelashes, and other hair roots on the face.
They also have the ability to leave hair follicles and walk around on their host's skin — usually at night, when they can roam around in darkness.
Luckily, they are usually harmless, although they can occasionally cause irritation and skin diseases such as rosacea in people with suppressed immune systems.
