When a baby mini-horse named Roozer was born in 2011, the vet wasn’t sure what to do about him. His limbs were severely deformed, making it nearly impossible for him to walk properly. This would spell doom for most horses, and so the vets told his owner, Christine, what they thought she should do. They recommended that Roozer be put down.

But Christine wasn’t so sure. She went home to think and after some time, she decided she had to try and keep him alive. It wasn’t going to be easy, but she knew she had to try. Watch this!

“I respect the veterinarian’s opinion,” she said. “I knew that if I made that choice to go against what the recommendations were, I was in it for the long haul.”

This just goes to show how much everyone deserves a chance at life. I’m just so glad she made the decision she did!
