After escaping domestic violence, Bryant, Arkansas natives Cara Brookins and her children began looking to make a fresh start in a new home.

Cara wanted to give her kids a home where they each had their own bedroom, but she couldn’t afford to buy a house that large right away. However, she did have some land and enough money to buy the materials to build a house like that. She also had access to YouTube, which made more of a difference than you might imagine.

Domestic violence prompted Bryant, Arkansas woman Cara Brookins to take her four children and leave their home in pursuit of a new beginning.
